Distinguished delegates, dearest members, dear all,
On behalf of the entire Board of Assas MUN, we are proud to lead one of the most diverse associations on campus, and we extend our warmest greetings to all delegates, partners, and friends of our community. Many of us have binational backgrounds, and our association is composed of members from all over Europe. This blend of perspectives shapes the way we work, debate, and connect with others. It’s a constant reminder that diplomacy begins with understanding different points of view.
Our goal is to offer Model United Nations experiences that are welcoming where participants can challenge ideas, refine their skills, and engage with international issues in a constructive way.
Whether you take part in one of our conferences, join us on a trip abroad, or attend one of our training sessions, we look forward to seeing you soon, both inside and outside the debate room.
Warm regards,
The Board of Assas MUN
How are we managed?
Our association is entirely led by students coming from Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, who are elected to their positions by the members of the association at the end of each academic year for the following year.
The restricted Board (President, Vice-president, Secretaries general, Treasurer) provides general supervision of the association's activities and its members. In 2023, our General Assembly voted to create specialized departments (Trips abroad, Foreign relations, Events, Training, Communications) led by elected members who are fully a part of the Board. These heads of department can then choose to include several members in their department. This change has enabled Assas MUN to broaden its spectrum of activities while maintaining a personal touch, but also to allow its non-elected members to become even more involved in the association.
We are now working to offer our members the best possible activities and to ensure that they feel represented by the Board and fully integrated into the association and its decision-making process.
